Two Quick Poems

Getting the New One Ready

I labor—chained to my keyboard
struggle to finish by deadline
One new work of works
A hundred poems for April
But—too ambitious that seems . . .
So . . . Here I am . . . stuck.
focus on one task:
getting this New One ready.

Nothing Profound

I search my soul’s depths
ping for deep mysteries
leviathan thoughts, philosophies
epiphany or apostrophe

no echo
void
empty
silent
nothing profound
nothing

One Response to “Two Quick Poems”

  1. Now the first one, is so in scync with my thoughts :P. For some reason, this has been the busiest Month in my life.

Ain’t that always the case? Such is spring. A breath . . . a breeze . . . explosion of growth! Do what you want, not what wants you to do it . . . if you know what I mean?
